Republic of Korea Armed Forces, National Police, and U.S. Military Joint UAV Operations Training
The Republic of Korea Armed Forces, in coordination with the Korean National Police and the United States Military, are conducting joint UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) operations training to enhance interoperability in both tactical reconnaissance and rapid response missions.
The objectives of the joint training program, hosted by FineVT Robotics Lab, are as follows:
- Strengthen Combined Operational Capability: Establishing standardized UAV tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) across military and law enforcement agencies.
- Improve Cross-Agency Data Link Integration: Testing real-time video and sensor data sharing between military and police command networks.
- Validate High-Risk Mission Scenarios: Simulating counter-terrorism, border surveillance, and disaster-response missions using a mix of eVTOL and multicopter UAV platforms.
The initiative underscores the growing importance of joint drone operations in modern security and defense strategies, while fostering stronger interoperability between allied forces.
