FineVT | Project Implementation

FineVT Robotics LAB developed and delivered a special-purpose vertical takeoff and landing VTOL unmanned aerial vehicle for operation in extreme cold regions to the Korea Polar Research Institute (KOPRI), and visited the Sejong Station in Antarctica in person to use a VTOL equipped with LIDAR and a quantum cryptography system to conduct the world’s first invisible Antarctic operation. The long-distance flight was successful.

K-UAM GC-1 stage traffic management research and verification consortium is conducting quality measurements using eVTOL and Rohde & Schwarz equipment, and Fine VT operates its own vertical takeoff and landing aircraft and Rohde & Schwarz equipment. is in progress.

In the Korean UAM business, stability and integrated operability are essential for leading the global UAM ecosystem and proposing global standardization and industrial expansion. FineVT Consortium participates in the K-UAM traffic management sector to fully verify the commercialization safety of the traffic management sector. , participated in commercialization research and demonstration to prepare operational concepts and technical standards suitable for domestic conditions.

FineVT Robotics LAB has carried out projects for supplying VTOL for map production and counter-UAS design and technical support for ATM security in various public institutions for navigation map production.

FineVT Robotics LAB participated in this project with the support of a technical advisor for eHang UAM work, and is supporting the construction of spatial information business infrastructure, UAM traffic management, and global aviation manufacturing work by developing cutting-edge surveying technology.

FineVT Robotics LAB participated in research projects in various fields such as UAM-based drones and communications (5G), and conducted research projects at organizations such as the Korea Radio Agency and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.

FineVT Robotics LAB participated in KAIA (Korea Land, Infrastructure and Transport Agency)’s planning and research project to develop technology to verify the reliability of aerial surveillance information acquisition and utilization system for K-UAM route departure monitoring.

FineVT Robotics LAB participated in the 2023 MWC exhibition held in Barcelona, Spain and launched the Measuremet Solution For Aerial N/W solution, a collaboration between SKT and FineVT.

FineVT is a member of the technical standards of the G3AM organization supported by TTA (Korea Information and Communication Technology Association), serves as G3AM’s technology subcommittee chair, and participated in the first phase of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport’s K-UAM Grand Challenge project.

FineVT has the technology to fly on moving ships. Everything from takeoff to landing is automated, eliminating concerns about accidents due to pilot error.

FineVT Robotics LAB & FineVT E/W&Security LAB carries out defense industry research projects and international research projects.
