Building on this milestone, Pocheon City aims to establish itself as a central hub for <strong>demonstration-based testing and collaborative research<\/strong> in defense and security technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the seminar, Pocheon City unveiled its future-oriented strategic initiative, the <strong>\u201cNEXT-P Project,\u201d<\/strong> which focuses on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fostering <strong>AI-based drone components, materials, and aircraft Maintenance, Repair &amp; Overhaul (MRO) industries<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Establishing a <strong>Defense Embedded Systems Cluster<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Developing a <strong>Drone Testing, Evaluation, and Certification advanced test sites, creating a <strong>highly sophisticated, eco-friendly, and validation-oriented research infrastructure<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the policy presentation session, the <strong>Korea Aerospace Administration (KASA)<\/strong> introduced the <em>\u201cK-Drone Airframe Supply Chain Initiative,\u201d<\/em> followed by a presentation from the <strong>Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI)<\/strong> emphasizing the <em>critical importance of test sites<\/em> for aerospace innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the corporate presentation session, <strong>Oh Se-jin<\/strong>, Director of the FineVT Research Institute, delivered a presentation titled <strong>\u201cStandardization and MRO Strategies for Logistics Support System Drones.\u201d<\/strong> Participating companies also reached a shared consensus on the necessity of expanding <strong>demonstration infrastructure<\/strong> and cultivating <strong>highly specialized professional talent<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAs our first R&amp;D initiative, we have been selected as the final awardee of the <em>\u20182025 Demand-Driven Quantum Technology Demonstration and Consulting Project\u2019<\/em> hosted by the <strong>National Information Society Agency (NIA)<\/strong> under the Ministry of Science and ICT, as part of the <strong>SK Broadband Consortium<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He further explained that from <strong>2025 to 2026<\/strong>, the project will conduct <strong>PQC (Post-Quantum Cryptography)-based KCMVP drone demonstrations and expert consulting<\/strong>, utilizing <strong>wired test sections in Pocheon and Goyang<\/strong>, as well as <strong>wireless testbeds in Pocheon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Director Oh also outlined the roadmap for subsequent R&amp;D initiatives:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The <strong>second R&amp;D project<\/strong> will focus on <strong>anti-drone electronic warfare (E\/W) technologies<\/strong> to strengthen security for <strong>national critical infrastructure and military installations<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>third R&amp;D project<\/strong> will pursue <strong>standardization efforts to ensure interoperability between civilian and military drones<\/strong>, underscoring the importance of establishing an <strong>integrated defense system<\/strong> in preparation for future battlefield environments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div training<\/strong> for domestic and international military and government facilities in the fields of electronic warfare and security. We will actively leverage Pocheon\u2019s proven testbed infrastructure to ensure the success of the Army Headquarters\u2019 drone standardization and MRO initiatives.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He added,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThrough close collaboration with institutions such as the <strong>Seoul National University Intelligent Unmanned Systems Northern Gyeonggi Branch<\/strong> and the <strong>Korea Aerospace Research Institute<\/strong>, we will accelerate the creation of joint research outcomes and strengthen Pocheon\u2019s position as a strategic center for future defense
